Ginger Tea | Adrak Wali Chai

1 cup water
1/4 inch ginger
1 pod green cardamom
Small piece of cinnamon (optional)
1/2 tsp saunf
1 1/2 tsp tea leaves
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp sugar
In a saucepan, add 1 cup of water, 1/4 inch ginger, 1 pod cardamom, a small piece of cinnamon (optional), and 1/2 tsp saunf.
Bring the mixture to a boil on high flame.
Add 1 1/2 tsp tea leaves and boil for 3-4 minutes, until the mixture is reduced to half a cup.
Add 1/2 cup milk and 1 tsp sugar.
Boil the mixture for 2-3 minutes on low flame, being careful not to over boil.
Strain the tea using a tea strainer.
Serve and enjoy your Adrak wali chai with your favorite snacks.
